Kindergarten Readiness Roundtable

Join Franklin Granville Vance Smart Start, Inc. for our Kindergarten Readiness Roundtable, a live Zoom session designed to help families, educators, and community partners support young children as they prepare for their first year of school. Kindergarten readiness matters because children do best when they enter school with strong early literacy foundations, positive character traits, and the social-emotional skills to learn, follow routines, and build healthy relationships. Through this roundtable, you will hear practical, local guidance on what readiness looks like and what adults can do now to help children thrive. As your local Smart Start partnership, Franklin Granville Vance Smart Start strengthens our community by connecting families to early childhood resources, supporting quality early learning opportunities, and bringing people together around proven strategies that give every child a strong start.
