The purpose of the Quality Child Care Program is to provide childcare professionals with technical assistance as well as developmentally appropriate materials that will enhance and/or improve the quality of care in that program/classroom. This program benefits both children and parents. With Quality Child Care being a part of a child care program, children have a wider variety of materials to work and play with, which research has shown may benefit them physically, emotionally, culturally, and intellectually.
