Each year, Garnett Street is flooded with a river of rubber ducks to raise funds to support ongoing services for families with children ages 0-5 years and more than 100 child care programs in Franklin, Granville, and Vance counties.

Each duck has the number of a $5 ticket purchased by local supporters.

1st Place:  $1,000

2nd Place:  Chick-Fil-A for a year

3rd Place:  $250 Sheetz Gas Card

Last Duck:  $100

This year, the Ducky Derby Race will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, starting promptly at 2 p.m. Hope to see you there.
